Gynecomastia surgery addresses excess breast tissue in men, restoring a firmer, flatter, and more masculine chest contour. During the consultation, chest anatomy will be evaluated to determine whether liposuction, glandular tissue removal, or skin tightening is necessary for optimal results.

Procedure Details
Performed under general anesthesia, the procedure typically involves liposuction to remove excess fat and a small incision along the lower border of the areola to remove glandular tissue. In cases of significant skin excess, additional tightening may be performed to ensure smooth, natural results.

Recovery
Swelling and bruising usually resolve within 1 to 2 weeks. Most patients return to work within one week and resume full physical activity in 4 to 6 weeks. A compression garment is worn for at least two weeks to minimize swelling and support chest contour during healing.
